ABOUT THE CLASS: Birth doesn't have to be this scary, traumatic life event. Our bodies and babies are equipped with everything we need --- So let's learn how to tune into that! Empower yourself and your partner to have your best birth and postpartum experience. We talk honestly about birth and early parenting, include up-to-date evidence-based information, and have fun while doing it all! The class is 100% tailored to your needs. We have a phone call or email catch up (your preference) before the class to ensure we cover exactly what you need to know. We can include an inspection of safe sleeping spaces for your baby, ideal positions and locations for early labour at home, opportunities to practice these in your own space, and how to set up your labour environment specific to your home. Perfect class for VBACs, Planned Caesarean Sections or Multiple Births. HOW LONG IS THE CLASS?: Allow 6 hours plus short breaks for each session to go through all of the epic information we need for an empowering birth. WHEN TO DO THE CLASS?: This class is best done between 24-36 weeks but it's never too late! WHO SHOULD ATTEND?: This class works best when you and your partner are both present. It is education for you both so you can enter into this journey feeling capable. One other birth support person is welcome to attend including midwifery students. WHAT TO WEAR?: Wear something comfortable that will allow you to be mobile and move easily. WHERE DO YOU SERVICE?: For within 30km of Brisbane CBD. Happy to negotiate for those further out. Cancellation Policy
Full payment is required at time of booking. Late arrivals are allowed but will shorten class time. No refund will be given if you do not attend the class and fail to give notice within 14 days of the class commencing. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 14 days before the class. No refund is provided for cancellations or changes with less than 14 days' notice. If you book a class and birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy a full refund will be offered, if you can provide evidence of birth. If you book a class after this gestation no refund will be offered if you do not attend the class or cancel within 14 days.
