Do you have a catchment area of the Mums & Bubs Clinic? No! Anyone from anywhere can attend our Mums & Bubs Drop In Clinic from birth to 7 weeks postpartum, at no cost to you (it's all bulk-billed!). And also receive ongoing free phone or telehealth access with your own midwife to keep getting support after your visit. You can call anytime! This makes new mum life easier to get ongoing support. We look after both MUMS & BABIES, unlike regular child health clinics and work out of a beautifully renovated allied health space, so we are around no sick people.

Set up a free 15 minute consult with Midwife Allie to help guide you in the next steps of what you need to do. Should I attend a class even if it is not my first baby? For sure! Every birth and baby can be so different. The more informed you go into birth, the better outcomes you can expect. Doing a class can help if you had a difficult previous birth and wish for a better experience this time around. It's also super relevant if it is your partner's first baby - they are your biggest supports and secret to success so they need to learn the confidence to be capable support people.
-
Should I attend the class if I have a planned induction? Most definitely! This might be even more relevant for you and your partner to make sure you can get the most out of your birth experience with a planned induction. Induction does not mean you have to throw all of your birth plans out the window. You can still have an empowering and epic birth experience that you look back on with joy.

Are these classes relevant if I want a VBAC?Absolutely! An evidence-based education class is one of the best ways to get informed for a successful VBAC. We tailor each class, private or group, for each of our clients. So make a note when you book about what you need to learn to make sure we give you all the info you need to know.

What if I birth before I have been able to attend a class? If you book a class before 37 weeks and have a preterm birth before this, then you can receive a full refund. Please reach out to me and provide evidence of the birth. You don't need any added stress to a difficult situation and deserve kindness and support.
-
What if I can no longer attend the scheduled date for the class I booked? If you provide at least 28 days notice then you can reschedule to a different class free of charge. If you need to reschedule after this time there is a fee involved. This is due to agreements with our vendors requiring confirmation and attendance information, which leaves us out of pocket if you're then unable to attend. As we are a small business we can't afford to be out of pocket for an entire attendance. I appreciate your understanding. Please reach out if extenuating circumstances apply to you.

Is the price of the class per person or per couple? The price of the class is per couple. Yep, just one fee for you both to attend! I aim to be as transparent as possible, so there are no hidden costs when accessing my care. That is the lowest private antenatal class in Brisbane, and I don't compromise on the content or ongoing support. It is slightly longer than a lot of other classes to pack in all the important info you need. If you have an additional support person or student midwife supporting your journey, reach out, and we can see if we have enough room to fit them in too! I am about empowering people to be the best birth supports and don't gatekeep knowledge that can help you have a positive birth experience.
